Podcast: Andrew White on the Potential of Biochar

Canadian Forest Industries (CFI) associate editor Ellen Cools interviewed Andrew White, CEO of CHAR Technologies about the tremendous potential biochar presents for the forest industry. Biochar, with its high levels of fixed carbon, can be used as an energy-rich carbon neutral biocoal (CleanFyre), or an activated carbon replacement (SulfaCHAR). It can be made from sawdust, chips, pellets, sawmill residuals, agricultural residues and more.
